    Applying for lottery Green card while Political Asylum case is Pending.

    Hi, I recently applied for a political asylum. I am aware sometimes, they do take long before the Immigration gives feedback. So my question is; Can I apply for the lottery green card while my Asylum case is pending? Is it good or bad to do so? And if so (in either scenario), how?
    Will be grateful for a piece of advice.
