Hello
I used to school in the US and in my last two years of school, my visa had expired and I was a broke student so I had to choose between paying my tuition and traveling to go get my visa renewed. I left the US after graduation and back home I got a breakthrough and am now living a pretty good life.
One of my college friends told me about a startup he's launching and he wants me to invest in it. If I'm to invest, I have to be able to keep an eye on things once in a while and at least meet the team working under the startup if need be. But I understand my immigration status (expired student visa for more than 1 year) means I have a ban on entering the US.
Will investing in this status lift this ban or make me eligible for a green card or at least a visa to be able to visit? I don't mind showing my bank records and assets and what not. I'm investing $850k, by the way.
I would greatly appreciate a reply as soon as possible.
