Hello,
My wife who is a USC is filing form i-130. On question 13, it asks how she got her USC. She was adopted from China before the age of 18, came over with an IR-3 visa, had a greencard for a short term, and then got citizenship. Does my wife have a certificate of citizenship in her own name?
If she doesn't have a certificate of citizenship in her own name, that'd be great since we can't find the certificate. Otherwise, we have to find certificate number.
If you are a U.S. citizen, complete the following:
My citizenship was acquired through (check one):
[]Birth in the U.S.
[]Naturalization. Give certificate number and date and place of issuance.
[]Parents. Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your own name?
