Have not heard back regarding lottery

Hi,

I have applied for my green card through the green card lottery system. I am just wondering when does this lottery take place as I have applied on 24th March and have not heard anything further on the matter. Could you please tell me when the lottery takes place as I am very anxious to travel to america to work and gain some experience.
