Question about Diversity Visa Lottery.

Hi All,

I am a British Citizen born in U.K. hence at the first instance I am not eligible for DV2010. But my mother was born in Kenya and is a British Citizen. Can I claim her place of birth and apply for DV2010?

DV 2010 selected, working for 2 years with a J1 visa can I have an adjustment status

I am a french citizen working for 2 years in the US with a J1 and I still have a year to go in the US.can I apply for an adjustment status in my local USCIS ? or do I need to go back to Europe? witch is complicated because of the distance....
