Green Card for religious workers

Sir/Madam,

I am working in US as a Religious worker. Recently one of my friends told me that the USCS is going to stop Green card processing for R-1 Visa holders. Is it true? If it is, from which date it is going to be effective? I came here on Augest 2009.

That is not entirely true.

There are two types of workers: actual priests and support staff. If you are in the later category, you can't file greencard.
