Derivative Asylum_URGENT HELP!
Hi everyone,
My wife and my daughter who came to the US to visit me were granted an asylum a year ago(Jan,2008.) With in that year( Feb,2008) she applied for relative petition/ derivative asylum for me. USCIS took finger print of me on Sept,2008. And this month of April, 2009 they called me for another photograph. I am assuming this photograph will be used to issue ID for me. However it is already been 3 weeks since ASC took my pics and I haven't heard anything from them. FYI my case is already out of their processing time.
Do you have any idea how long should it take before I can get my Derivative aylum grant? I still go to school in the US Universities but I wonder why it should take that long.
