Dear Sir /or Madam,

I won the lottery and came to America 10 days ago, I applied for the Green Card, would you please let me know for how long the Green card that I will get will be vaild for.

Green card is permnanent resident card. Your green card status is valid forever.

However, the card you receive as the proof your permanent residency is valid for 10 years and needs to be renewed every 10 years.
