dv lottery vs non immigrant visa

urgent answer very appreciated ,
Im a doctor who will be applying for training in the states through non immigrant visa , do you advice me to apply for the dv lottery ,for the purpose of easier training (j1 visa) as well as it will increase my opportunity , but 2problems that if i applied through this lottery I may loose my non immigrant intention , the 2nd one if i applied and selected , do delay in processing will hinder my ability to interview for a position , so what to do ? apply vs no.........thanx in advance

DV Lottery Visa

You can apply while living in USA also. If your name comes in their lottery system, all you need to do is to apply for the change of status in Home land security office. You can have it process while living and during your training in USA. You can also hire a lawyer over there to do it for you.

Once you get the lottery visa then all your worries will go away.
