  • Asylum for someone being here for 28 years

    Hello all,
I have been in the US for 28 years. I got married in 20111 to an US citizen but my case was not approved for 7 years and I have to withdraw the case because I got divorced. Since I have any other way to get my status legalized I thought about asylum for the fact that I have been in the US for 28 years, left my country with my parents when I was 11 years old. I also have an American daughter. Before anyone asks, I did not apply for DACA because I was already over the age limit at the time. Does anyone know of this could be something I can request?

I don't think you will have a chance. If you don't apply after 1 year of being in US it's much harder to get Asylum, specially when you did not apply for it after 28 years...
