Hi Everyone,
I am a US citizen. I filed Humanitarian Parole for my sister in December. Early March, I recieved a phone call from the International Operations Division with questions about my sister's case. They asked me to file I-130 for her and send them the reciept. I was told that they will be expediting the case.
I filed I-130 and send them the reciept. I called them a week later and talked to the person who had previously called me. She said she is no longer working on the case, but will have the officer in charge of the case call me.
It's been a week now and I have not recieved any phone calls yet. It's been 4 months since I filed.
My question is
if the previous officer is not working on it any longer, does it mean the case has moved up to a higher authority or what?
