Folks - Can I get my GC done without the knowledge of my Employer?? Is that legal?? If it is legal then how do I proceed??

You can't really do that if you want to do employment based GC. Someone has to sponsor you.
Other ways would be to marry US citizen person(family based), or participate in greencard lottery(if you are eligible.) Those things you can of course do without employer's knowledge.Immihelp Support
