USCIS is being slow in scheduling interviews

Has anyone applied for asylum recently? Any updates? I'm frustrated.

I applied on Dec 27, 2019. I haven't got the initial receipt from USCIS yet. They have become super slow since September 2019. They used to schedule interviews 5-6 weeks after applying. Not any more

They rejected my application after 7 weeks due to not including sufficient copies. This is absolute B.S. I refiled
