I would like to put a list together for the sake of all Refugee Travel Document holders in the US. Below are the countries I have personal experience. Please contribute if you have any personal experience.
I would like to put a list together for the sake of all Refugee Travel Document holders in the US. Below are the countries I have personal experience. Please contribute if you have any personal experience.
| Canada | Accepts US RTD but you need a visa. I have applied for visa and got denied because of not enough ties to US!!!!! I did not have GC when I applied. |
| Hong Kong | Accepts US RTD but you need to get a visa at a Chinese consulate. I have got visa with no issues. |
| Ireland | Accepts US RTD but you need to apply for visa at Irish consulate. I have got visa with no issues. |
| Malaysia | Accepts US RTD but you need to apply for visa at Malaysian consulate. I have got visa with no issues. |
| Macao | Visa not needed. I have gone to two separate Chinese consulate in two different countries to get visa, but I was told no visa is needed. I have not traveled to Macao yet so I cannot personally confirm. |
| Philippines | Accepts US RTD but you need to apply for visa at Philippines consulate. I have got visa with no issues. |
| Thailand | Accepts US RTD but you need to apply for visa at Thai consulate. I have got visa with no issues. |
