My friend is waiting for his asylum result for more than a year; he had his interview in December 2019. So far, there wasn't an answer, and when the congressman reached USCIS, they said he should wait. Today finally, the congressman's office told him the case is prioritized to be reviewed by a supervisor at USCIS.
What does that mean for him? and what is the next step?
How can he expedite his case? (he wrote to USCIS 2 times so far and requested an expedite)
Is it risky for him to sue USCIS?
Thank you all for your input
