i want to praise God for a successful interview on the 4th Oct 2010
it was a beautiful experience
remember that i was worried because my waec certificate didn't have my middle name unlike my other documents. but the issue was never raised.
i was asked to describe my duties as a doctor (this was the exact questions i prayed that God grant me), then if i was married or ever had been.
my advise to those going for the interview is to ask God that what you want to be asked is what you are asked.
please have the basic educational requirements; the only denial i witnessed was a family of 4 whose principal applicant (the mother) lacked waec, and unfortunately had been a nursery sch teacher for 8 years. the CO apologetically explained that if she had at least taught primary sch aged kids then she would have been able to swing it.
please go with naira equivalent of $819 or $819, the fees have changed from $775 to $819.
if like me you didn't fill an intended permanent USA address on the DS 230 forms, i.e the one you mailed to KCC; DON'T PANIC. print out on a paper the address at which you intend to stay and take it with you to the embassy.
i did't witness anyone being asked to defend the waec but if you sat for waec recently it makes sense to revise your maths and english.
i wish to encourage all nigerians going for their DV interview, go with God. amen
