Obtaining a P3 Visa in France

Dear All,

I am an Indian citizen holding an India passport and currently residing in France on a long term visa. I need to travel to US on a P3 Visa as a part of a dance troupe. Is it possible to obtain the P3 visa in France? Can anyone guide me on the process and requirements?

It is possible

However, the Visa interviewer may determine that your case has details that need to be verified in India, your home country, and that it is advisable for you to go there for your interview. Consular processing is very discretionary, and often times they even limit the amount of information they provide to the candidate if they decide to deny the visa. This is to say, that if the consular officials in France are satisfied by the evidence you provide to prove your eligibility for the visa, they could decide to issue it.
