Hi There,
Appreciate an urgent response on the following matter.
My friend recently visited California on business purpose and during his stay he applied for some jobs posted on internet with some employers based in US.
When he told me this matter i advised him that he's not supposed to seek employment under B1/B2 visa. He was worried as he already sent out couple of applications to few employers. However he did not attend any interviews during the stay. He's expected to depart US tomorrow to his country. So my questions are
1. Will he face any issues at the immigration at the airport as he was seeking employment opportunities while on B1/B2 status in US?
2. Will his B1/B2 visa get cancelled and banned entering US again?
3. Can an employer inform the government that someone under B1/B2 is seeking employment without conducting an interview with the candidate?
A quick response is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
