Hi,
I am planning to apply for "B1 in lieu of H1", but in the DS-160 form there is no place where i can mention "B1 in lieu of H1".
I could find "Purpose of Trip" and i selected "B" for that and then at the drop down of "Specify" i have selected "B1", now i am not finding anywhere i can specify this "lieu of H1".
The problem is, i wanted to apply for B1 in lieu of H1 but there was no place to specify this specific category and thus i just went to consulate at Chennai. My invite letter was stating that I am required for some support work for the duration of 1 month. They rejected my application by stating that i didnt apply in the correct category.
Now i am clueless how to apply for the correct category? Can someone help me in this regards?
