Petition number for B1 VISA

I am not sure if there was any petition number involved with my B1 VISA applied last year. Are petition numbers only applicable for H1 and L1 VISA or are they applicable for B1 VISA too?

H and L visas are petition based visas, meaning you need an USCIS approved petition filed by the US employer.
