    Dear Sir/madam,

    I have to write my us cpa exams (4 subjects) in the month of july 2013. i have applied for b1/b2 visa and my interview is in the next week. Is it ok if i have my visa interview too early?

      Business visa refusal under 214(b).

      Hi,

      My interview was as follows:

      Purpose : The purpose for my us travel is to write the certified public accountant exams that is cpa
      WHY cpa: I work for a us company here in india, and this qualification will help me to grow further in career & I will be adding this professional qualificaiton to my academic credits (officer was waiting for more explanation/answer), I sighed her iam done

      How long you will be staying there? 3 weeks for writing 4 exams

      Which company you work for I work for …..

      How long you have been working it is been ……...in this company( I guess they asked my total work experience)

      how much you earn in a year? …………./year

      Who is sponsring your trip? My self

      Are you married? No, I have planned to get marry after cpa qualification

      Result visa can't be issued under 214(b)

      Please suggest me how to overcome this refusal?

          Work experience: 1 year 11 months 15 days in this company.(I did not say my total experience is 5 year 6 months)

            Single status, low income and short experience with the current employer , the officer thinks you are not likely to return , hence the denial.

            You can overcome this by getting married, joining a better paying job and applying after some time. It should appear that you are settled
            in India in your occupation and are earning very well.

              I have again re-scheduled my interview with in one month. This time i have cleared it.
