  • B1 visa rejected twice.

    Hi All,

I attended B1 visa interview on Feb 21 at Chennai and got rejected under the section 214(b). Second time I attended the interview on Mar 19 and got rejected again reason being that my circumstances didn't change since my last visa application.
Is there any possibility of communicating US embassy or consulate through a written letter of asking the reason for rejection?
If I apply again after 2-3 months under different category ( H1B ) will there be any chances of clearing?

    Thanks in advance.

Please post both your interviews as Q and A.
The reason is usually hidden in the interview.

Secondly, 214b does not apply for H-1 because here you don't need to show home ties to return to.

So, a 214b denial for B1 does not affect H-1b.
