  • B1 visa re-apply..

    Hi,
I have been rejected the B1 visa two days back. I was asked the following questions:
    1. My Salary -
I told 5.5 lac p/a. and VC moved to the next question.

    2. My name of the company -
I told YYYY company (already my colleague got B1 for the same consulate).

    3. Have you every visited outside India>
I said "yes" i have been to DUBAI.

    3. Why I'm going to US?
    I told for TANA

    4. For how long I'm going?
    2 days

[VC] we would not be able to process your visa this time. i didn't got proper information.
    & handed out the 214 B booklet.

in application i have made some mistakes(like in education i mention only 10th) may be that is the reason i think .so this time i have filled correctly and reapplied..got the appointment after 13 days..

can anyone please help me wht needs to be taken care for the 2nd time interview. and will there any impact for the first rejection, wht reason i have to mention in DS160 form for the first time rejection.

I think 13 days is too early to reapply...i applied 45 days after first rejection and got through second time. I was told at the Delhi embassy to apply after 45 days.

You will definitely be asked what happended the first time. Please be ready with a really good answer which should convince them.

In DS-160 mention - under 214(B), that will be fine.

    Hope this helps!!

I think "2 days" seemed like "not true". You do not go to US for business and stay just 2 days.

        Exactly 2 days sounds unrealistic.
