B1 Admin Processing more than 2 months in Kolkata passport still with Consulate
Its been 2 months now since i gave my interview in Kolkata consulate for a B1 VISA and visa status is still reflecting under admin processing.
My Interview went fine and VO asked me to submit my finger prints and took my passport later he said you have to wait for sometime and your name will be called then he took out a white paper and marked something. Being my organization a BEP group member of US Gov.. (IDK what is it exactly) so i was quite calm on this.
I waited for almost 20 minutes and then the other guy called me from a doc validation counter and asked for my height, weight and my sibling name. He also took my invitation letter copy and ask me to check the status after 1 week and gave me a white handout of 221g. I asked him how long it will take he said it depends on case to case. Its been 2 months now and status is reflecting same... This is quite weird as I've all the valid doc and visa interview also went fine. I dropped so many emails but none of them got replied with a reasonable answer.. Dropped an email to [email protected]. and it gives me strange replies week after week

3.The current status of your passport is Picked Up (Dont know who picked up my passport, where it went).
I am tired of waiting and worried for my passport which is still with US consulate.. feels helpless as this was not expected from one of the best country of the world.. Not a criminal, not against their country law, never offended the people. never been any revolting party member dunno why it happened..
Im only a common person with a dream to visit that country
and for the growth of my relationship with US business client ...
If someone has the same experience please do share and if some can help me on this I will really appreciate...
