Hi snbtcca and other experts on 221g processing

Hi snbtcca,

If possible, can you please send us your analysis that shows the percentage of visa's issued after putting in 221g in year 2013? That'll help to get a trend in issue of visa.

My visa is pending since Jun 10, 2013, and have already passed the processing slot and is now 64 days.. Now I see most of the visa's are getting cleared for June 13- June 14 period and some old cases randomly. My visa's status was updated on July 23 and stlll it got in pending administrative processing..

Once processing slot is passed, how does the other cases gets picked up for issue?

Has the slot moved to June 17-18 yet?

My interview was on June 27 and I'm trying to estimate when would the slot get there.

Also does the same slot work internationally or is it visa-office-specific? My visa office is in Canada.

Today my CEAC Status changed to ISSUED. and passport tracker shows " Passport has been received from the consular section, and is currently being processed for delivery".

This is my Story..

06/10/2013 - Attended interview and handed over 221g Pink slip.. and Nos status udpate in CEAC Status tracker till July 23
07/23/2013 - Status udpate date changed to 07/23/2013 and Status remain Same" Administration Processing" . Status update date was changed to 07/23 for all pending case 2013161***
08-14-2013 - Status udpate date changed to 08/14/2013 and Status remained Same" Administration Processing" .
08-16-2013 - Status changed to "ISSUED".

Hope everything is fine and will get passport in 2-3 days and end to long wait of 67 + days..

This forum was really helpful and snbtcca's analysis to get some prediction..

If you are lucky, you should get your visa in next few days. Status update date change is always a positive sign.

Can you please run your analysis or share the latest data on the latest Visa Issued and moved Processing Slots. ?

I have been interviewed on 6th August @ Chennai Consulate for H1B and given 221g - Blue slip. They have kept all the documents I was having, along with Original Approved Petition. I have not been asked for any additional documents.
I am not able to see my case number in the PDF published by Chennai Consulate.

Any idea generally how long it takes to get an update from Consulate.

I would also like to know , the details what you provide on VISA Issued are specific to some VISA types(e.g. B1 or F1) or it is for all VISA type ?

Your analysis really helps people here and give hopes to everyone.
