Hello snbc

Nice analysis. I got a 221g on a blue slip. No further documentation was asked (aap) my case number does not show up on the pdf. When enquired vfs informed that blue slip case numbers dont come up on pdf. Also 2 of my frienss had the same blue slip AAP.

Hi, i got my status creation date is 23rd April and status update is April 25th, got 221 g Pink, no update yet , any idea when i ll get my passport stamped? is it fine if i write to chennai consular office? or will that be in issue

Clarification with the stats

Hi snbtcca,

Many thanks for what you are doing. Great work and good stuff. In your 1st Aug cases list, there was one from 8th May being cleared. My H1B interview was on
6th May 2013 and my batch id is 2013123 and hence 8th may will be 2013125 xxx x. But I don't see that batch id in the PDF report from the consulate.


I would like to know where do you get your results from? Is this only for B,F visas? If the pdf is not updated or accurate is there a way to find out apart from the US visa status page?.
Thank you for your help. I just need this info to clarify my doubts and nothing more.

PS: In case your visa is approved how will they let you know? Is there anyone who has experienced bitter sweet side of 221g? It's been 90 days and the pdf file doesn't give an ounce of confidence.

chennai consulate's 221 G page has that PDF. I am not sure about other consulates. other way to find out is the US visa status page. hope this helps

Not sure if I understand your question. I track all the cases published by Chennai consulate. I do not publish the list of all the pending items. I am not seeing your analysis of 1st august. I am a june12 case with documents in 20th . My understanding is form 13th august pdf file and using your terminology the case processing shifted to 14th June? What happens to the cases that have shelved during shift in processing dates. Your comments were always reassuring that some day we too will see a issued next our case id.

Waiting from May 16th

I and my spouse attended VISA interview in Chennai consulate on May 16th and my spouse's VISA (H4) is pending for Admin processing from there on. Its going to be 90 days for tomorrow and the status has not changed. I heard from my colleague that we can get the status if we request through an Attorney (US). Is that true ?
Other than sending a mail to [email protected] to get the status, any other process that I can follow ?

The dates mentioned are as per US time zone. So, at the time of your interview/case creation, it must be 8th in the US

Percentage of visa's issued after putting in 221g in year 2013

Hi snbtcca,

If possible, can you please send us your analysis that shows the percentage of visa's issued after putting in 221g in year 2013? That'll help to get a trend in issue of visa.

My visa is pending since Jun 10, 2013, and have already passed the processing slot and is now 64 days.. Now I see most of the visa's are getting cleared for June 13- June 14 period and some old cases randomly. My visa's status was updated on July 23 and stlll it got in pending administrative processing..

Once processing slot is passed, how does the other cases gets picked up for issue?
