my b1 visa is under administration process from 11 months. my case never got updated before 15 September but it got updated twice on 16 and 17 September. its still under administration process. what does this mean?? m i going to get good news soon???

Simply send a mail to Consulate and they will send ur passport back to u but the admin process will be continued and once the process is over they will notify u to resubmit the passport to get the visa.all the best .I had the same situation as u and I received my passport.

At last I got visa stamped in my passport after 11 months. God is Great

Submit passport from other country

Congratulations Muflih and Thank you for your reply.

I had withdrawn my passport for travelling to other country. I am now in other country and my case is only pending case for May 2 2013 (day 121) .
Rest all cases have been issued. If they ask me to submit my passport how do I submit from the other country?
Is there a way out or I have to arrive in India to submit the passport with Chennai Consulate?

I have some similar case like you .. I received pink slip in march then i asked back my passport in May as i had to travel to another country . suddenly after 7 months i received the mail stating submit passport but i was stuck in another country. I returned back on 24 th December and have submitted the passport. But again tracker says pending processing. Could you please give me some tips and guidance.

Total 221(g) cases from 1-Jan-2013 to 25-Jun-2013: 3388 (b) Total Issued: 1666

Recently cleared cases:
(a) 17th June: 21 Visas Issued -> 1 pending since 19-Mar-2013; 1 since 23-April-2013; 19 since May 2013(16th*1,17th*8,20th*7,21st*1,30th*1,31st*1)

(b) 18th June: 46 Visas Issued -> 1 pending since 4th March 2013; 2 pending since May 2013 (17th*1, 31st*1); 43 pending Since June 2013 (3rd*1, 7th*1, 11th*15, 12th*14, 13*10, 14th*2);

(c) 19th June: 6 Visas Issued from Pending status -> 1 pending since 7th May 2013; 5 pending since June 2013 (10th *1, 11th*1, 3rd*13, 12th*3)

(d) 20th June: 14 Visas Issued from Pending status -> 2 pending since Nov 2012 (16th*1, 19th*1) ; 11 pending since May 2013 (10th*1, 13th*1, 17th*2, 20th*2, 21st*6); 1 pending since 3rd June 2013

221g Chennai Consulate

Hi,

Attended H1B Visa interview on Decmber 6th 2013.

I have been issued 221g blue slip during interview requesting two extra documents (MSA and Employment letter).

They asked me to drop these two documents through drop box.
However I have submitted passports (mine and 3 dependents) along with the requested documents on 27th December2013.

Finally today (21st jan 2014) I received my passports without stamping and no other 221g form inthat .

Can any one please suggest me..

Got 221 ( g ) with bright yellow color slip

My interview was on 23rd may. I got 221 ( g ) with bright yellow color slip and visa pending status. Counselor returned my passport and asked me to send email with scanned copies of all relevant documents. I applied for B1 visa. My conference is from 13th april. Will I get visa before that or should I cancel registration.

My L1A Visa is in admin processing

My L1A Visa is in admin processing. VO approved my application but due to previous H1B Visa status (in admin processing) he gave me 221 (g) for admin processing. Not asked for any new documents. He has taken my passports also.
How long will this take to make a decision & clear admin process?
Does this approve?

Please share you experiences?
