B1/B2 visa for Conference in August 2nd week

Hello,

I have to attend a business conference in August 2nd week, I have got the invitation letter and hotel is booked for same.
Is there ample time to apply for Visa?

What documents would be required, I am founder (proprietor) of IT solution company.
Also do we now need the 2x2" Photos along with the application? As the new DS160 form doesnt require user to upload the photo, rather they click the photo at OFC Center.

Apply as soon as possible. Photo is not necessary as they will take it at the time of interview
