I don’t have Surname in my passport because of which I have to redo my entire DS 160 in 30 min

As per new Procedure

When you don’t have Surname

Ie…

Surname : ____(empty)_____________
Given Name : YYYY XX YYYYY ZZZZZZZZ

While filling your DS 160 you need to fill

Surname : YYYY XX YYYYY ZZZZZZZZ
Given Name : FNU

In your DS160 confirmantion page you get your name as YYYY XX YYYYY ZZZZZZZZ,FNU

FNU means First Name Unknown

Me : Gave the passport

Interviewer : She looked into the monitor for almost 1 minute(I guess about my Prev B1 Rejection) . And finally said what is the purpose of your Travel ?

Me : I explained about the purpose

Interviewer : What your salary

Me : YYYY

Interviewer : Since How long you have been with the company ?

Me : 1.2 Years

Interviewer : Are you married ?

Me : Yes

Interviewer : Do you have kids

Me : No (still planning )

Interviewer : , How many weeks you will be staying there

Me : 4 weeks

Interviewer : That’s too short, Is it sufficient ?

Me : Yes, I just explained whatever Itinerary which I carried with me

Interviewer : Your Visa has been issued. You will get the passport couriered to your address soon

Me : Thank you
