B1 Rejected in Feb 2013, can re-apply again?

HI All,

i have been rejected under 214(b) on Feb 1st 2013 for the first time.

(My slot was afternoon at 12.30pm)
VO: Good Afternoon
Me: Good afternoon sir.

VO: can i have your passport
Me: sure, here it is

VO: Where are going in US
Me: LA

VO: Purpose of visit?
Me: Training

VO: Duration of stay?
Me: 4 weeks

VO: Sorry sir, i cant approve your visa this time. Kindly ask your HR to raise it in some other category.
he simply gave me a 214b form and reason was ticked on "that the travel is for legitimate purposes permitted by the applicant's visa category."

Its been 5 months since the first rejection now. Company is willing to apply B1 again.


Shall i go for it?

Need suggestions. Kindly help.

B1 VISA is purely business VISA. You should have answered business trip.

You can definetly reapply. Good luck !!
