  • Not Received I-94 in port of entry

    Hi All,

I came US on B1 visa for business trip (Multiple entry). My port of entry was in Houston. Immigration officer asked me about purpose and duration of visit.
He stamped in my passport and given 6 month of my stay validity in my passport. Immigration officer has not given I-94 and i forget to asked the same to him.
As per CBP website they are going to phased out I-94 paper system and roll-out new arrival and departure system in major Airports(like Houston) but i am not sure about this.

I am planning to leave USA after 3 week and I need to submit I94 while departure from USA hence request to senior members to suggest me whether i need to get my I-94 from CBP , apply form I-102 to get I-94 otherwise stamping in my passport is sufficient to go back my home country.

I am planning to come back US after 3 month of my departure to USA. I would not like any problem while re-entering to US.

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks,
    Anurag

Yes, No more paper I-94s. It is all electronically automated now.
the very purpose of automated I-94s is you do not need to surrender anything at departure.
Your airline flight record will go to USCIS.

However, you can download a copy of your I-94 for YOUR OWN RECORD from the CBP website.
If there are any problems at your next entry , which there won't be, you can show them the downloaded copy of I-94 and
    your departure boarding passes.
Do it while you are in US. It will disappear from the website after you have left US.
