Using B1 for Personal Visit

I'm holding a B1/B2 (NO Annotation) - Multiple Entry Visa. I've not yet traveled to USA yet using this Visa.

There is a Family medical emergency which would require a visit of 2 weeks. I have lived in USA under L1 for about 3 years and had a H1B rejected later.

Wife & Kids will be staying back in India and I'm working in a F500 MNC.

Questions :

1. Is it advisable to enter USA using B1 for personal reasons for the first time?
2. Will my earlier visas (L1 & H1) would have a bearing in Port of Entry?
3. Will there be any issues for future business travel ?

If it is a B1/B2 and not B1 alone, then there is absolutely no worries to enter USA for a personal visit. I have a B1/B2 myself, and i have entered a couple of times on it mentioning holiday as my purpose of visit.

Your earlier visas will have no bearing on the visit at the Port of Entry.

There will be no issues for business travel in the future.
