20 yr validity passport with B1 visa

Hi ,

I just did by B1/B2 stamping last month at Chennai US consulate. My passport has 20year validity & expires on 2019.
I have a business travel coming up & when I went to book my tickets, few travel agents mention that its important to get a new passport with 10 year validity.

The internet is having mixed information. I am kind of confused. I don't have time for going through normal slots in passport office & tatkal seems to require lot of documents.

In the recent past, have anyone experienced or heard of any harassment at POE because of 20yr validity passport ? Have you been refused an entry into US ?

My mom travelled on her 20 year passport to Europe, Singapore and Hong Kong within the last 5 years. It seems to be ok.

With all the details, I am reasonably confident that 20yr validity shouldn't be an issue. If its an issue just explaining to the officers, I think I need to handle that.
I am just going to go ahead with my current passport & try my luck.
