B1/B2 visa refusal on 221(g) - administrative processing-white paper

Hi, As I am working in South Africa, I filed my B1/B2 visa application in South Africa. The B1/B2 visa was applied for a short trip (3 days) for a job interview next month. It was refused under 221(g)-Administrative processing (white paper) and some more doc. were also asked. I understand the whole set of application & doc. would be sent to USCIS for review. Don't know how long will it take? Can I submit additional doc. supporting my family/social/financial ties to home country (India)? Any tips/guidence on the way forward?
