Do we have any rule or recommendation that we need to wait for 6 months between 2 trips to US on Visitor Visa. Please suggest.

i know by some friends that a simple rules is if you stay 1 month, stay outside for 1 month

if you stayed 4 months..stay outside for 4 months

No such rule. THey judge each case on its specific circumstances. Your previous visit , the interval and the purpose should sound natural. For example, a businessman from UK can enter twice in a month for 3-4 days' business
meeting each time without any problems. But a tourist who just spent 1 month in US returns after 1 month from India for more tourism may be questioned.
