  • Does my USA B1 VISA have affect of my previous rejecion ?

    Hello,

I am new to this forum so I apologies If I made any mistake.

In previous year 2012 my NZ Immegration rejected because unknowingly to us our adviser do not have licences to process our application.

I have also visited Thailand in Nov-Dec 2012.

Now my company wants to send me for USA B1 visa in Jan/Feb 2014 and My company adviser is against to show my previous rejection. Because he believe after showing NZ rejection it will be (50% / 50%) chances of getting USA B1 VISA.

Should I declare NZ rejection ?
Will it have any impact on my USA B1 application?
How USA know my previous rejection If I don't declare ?

Your any guidance will be very much appreciated and helpful.

    Regards,
    Chirag

THere is no requirement to declare other country visa denials when you apply for US visa.
there is no such question on the form DS160
      So do not worry.

for US B1 visa, they only care about their criteria. Like your experience with the company,

your income, exact details of the work to be done in US. Client letter from US.

Which country you belong to? Your Immigration to NZ was rejected by NZ Consulate? And which form does the Adviser suggest to not put on the NZ rejection detail for US B1 visa?

            Hello,
My US transit visa was denied. According to the consular, i should have a foreign residence. Is this a requirement?

I guess by that he meant you must maintain a permanent residence outside US.

Could you post details of your i nterview and your circumstances ?
