Hi,
I have a hand-written Indian passport with 20 year validity. I also have a B1 visa stamped that is valid until April 2015. Now i need to travel for an official meeting in the next week of Feb 2014 . Can i travel to the US with this passport?. I did see the notification saying hand-written passports will not be valid after November 2015. But since this is an urgent travel, i dont have the time to apply for a new passport and a new visa. As i understand foreign countries will deny entry by November 2015. Has anyone travelled with a hand-written passport in 2014 and were there any issues in immigration and at the port of entry?.
