221g white slip issued at Mumbai Consulate & Passport Returned

Hi,

I have given Visa Interview on 31st Jan'14, Visa Officer asked my designation and about my client business which i answered. I have also shown my invitation from my client but he ignored. After some working on his computer for a minute he has given me a document to fill some data about my previous companies i worked ,countries i have visited earlier and about my family members which i written , the same info i had given in DS-160 also.
I waited for some time then he called me on his window again and retuned my passport and issued white slip mentioned 221g and told me that he want some more time to investigate and will contact through e-mail. He has not requested any document. Till today online check Visa status shows that my visa application is under "Administrative Processing"

Could any one tell me how much time it will take further ......or may i need to reapply.

I am also given 221g. I have been asked to submit documents via email. Is that how you are also asked to submit the documents.

yes, email is the way they ask for more info, documents etcs. It is the speedier way.

Can anyone please let me know if your VISA was approved? if yes, When? And how long is it taking for Admin processing after providing documents? I recently received 221(g) White and was asked to submit documents via email. I appreciate any information provided.

Please be aware US consulates, incl Hyd.. have been cracking down on frivolous petitions from a bunch of apparently shady US consultancies; a previously denied H1 and now a 221g suggests there might be cause for concern. AP takes as long as AP takes.
