You need a letter from the startup company inviting you to US for the meeting/conference. A hard copy would be better. You need travel/itenary documents. You need a statement from the start up company that they will pay all your expenses. You need to tell them the benefit you are getting from this conference by going to US taking 3 months leave from your permanent employer. A letter from your permanent employer approving your leave request would also be a plus. In addition to this you need to convince the officer that you will be coming back to India.

Also your accommodation details like where would you be staying for the 3 months and how much would the hotel cost and any booking confirmation. I believe they won't bother you more on this if your US company is arranging it.

The officer will not call or email your present employer for verification. He is quick in taking decisions and all you will get is less than 5 to 10minute with him at the time of interview.

              One question,

While filling Ds-160 form, There is a current employment.
I am thinking to fillup full time job information. Is it good to fill current employee or part time employee?
