B1 visa to deliver a talk at reputed US university

I am an undergrad final year student from a NIT India. I have an letter of invite for 1 week from a reputed US University inviting me to deliver a talk. The travel will be self sponsored but the accommodation will be taken care of. I am planning on showing my Dad's bank account statement which has a average of 2 lakhs for the past year and it has around 4 lakhs now. I have booked tickets already (return ticket too).
What kind of questions should I expect?
What are my visa approval chances?

It is not that easy as you think for a young and single person.

they will want to make sure how you came to know of this talk presentation and why it is so important to go all the way to US for this.
have you made any presentations anywhere else?

Plus your dad's income will be an important consideration if you are showing his funding. 2-4 lacs is meaningless.

There was no need to book tickets when you do not even have the visa yet.
