I was studying in the US on a F1 visa which had the wrong date of birth.I returned to my home country after completing my studies. I intend to visit the US on B1/B2 visa for my swearing in with the NY bar. However by the time i discovered the error it was too late and it slipped my mind as I was busy with work and being nervous for the visa interview. My visa was approved and later I got a call from the consulate inquiring about the wrong date of birth on the visa. It is only then it I remembered about this error. The error was due to the fact that in my country we write the day and not month first ie. dd/mm/yy. So my date of birth was wrong by 3 days. I am worried about my application. They had my passport when they issued the visa earlier and other documents as well. They did ask if I changed my passport (funny)?I am worried what would happen now? will I get the visa or will they call me for another interview.
