Need help regarding B1 Visa

Hi Guys,

I want to attend 1 day seminar in US regrading Advertising.
Me and my father running advertising company which is
20 years old now.

Father already attended this twice and want me to go with him.

I Studied from Australia.

Have Confirmation of the Seminar on my name.

Age 28
Married

Is there any chances to get my visa approved ???
Should i tell them my purpose of visit is tourism and seminar or what ??

You can be successful if your personal income is good (10-12 L/yr) and business turnover is good.


Complete the DS160 carefully because they read it thoroughly.

*If you are a partner in the company , must write business and name of the company under "OCCUPATION"
*must have good personal income of 10-12 lacs/yr to succeed which you must mention under "INCOME"
*If you have that income, write "self" to the question 'who is paying".
*you should write the purpose in the form as 'attending xxxx (name ) seminar" .
*Name your dad as co-traveler in the form and take a copy of his visa with you to the interview.
*Write precise duration of how long you wish to stay in the form.

*take proof of your business turnover( they can ask the turnover) , personal income proof( IT return),
registration at seminar .

but my annual income is 6 Lakhs as per my ITR and turnover last year 2.5 cr..

what is your position at the company? are you partner with your dad or an employee?

Since your dad is going with you, to the question who is paying for the trip, you can write dad instead of you.
. Maybe if you will get a chance to explain that your dad is the bigger partner earning the major income .
donot forget to take his income proof and his visa copy . ALso do mention him as co traveler in your form.

Maybe it will work, you can try , but no guarantees.
