Hi, I would like to share my b1 visa interview experience.
Interview Date &Time : 09th July 2014 07:30AM.
I have joined a big Queue @7:05AM. I was there in front of visa officer @8:15AM after passing through few security checks.
Me : Hi, Good Morning!
VO : Good morning sir, Can I have your passport please?
Me : Sure, provided him passport.
VO : Purpose of your visit?
Me : Trainings and meetings.
VO : How long you will be there in US?
Me : n weeks.
VO : Which company do you work for?
Me : YYYY X pvt ltd.
VO : Where you will stay in US?
Me : YYYY XX City
VO : What is your Salary?
Me : N Laks and N thousands per annum.
VO : Are you married?
Me : Yes
VO : What is your profession?
Me : Answered
VO : Have you ever been to US?
Me : No, I haven't.
VO : Congratulations sir, your visa is approved, Have a great day!
Me : Thank you, Have a good day!
Tips:
Be in formal wear, men can wear a tie which gives good look.
Don't be hurry while answering questions.
Be polite and maintain eye contact.
Be confident on what you say.
