Urgent : Dnt have the old passport for B1 interview

Hi ,

I recently re-applied my indian passport to add my spouse name and got a new passport which has old passport details in it. Now i am going to attend B1 US visa interview. But i dont have my old cancelled passport with me, will it be a problem when i visit consulate for the interview. Please advise..

Nope i didnt......i dont have any visa stamped in the passport

Carrying an old passport is not mandatory. But sometimes the officer can ask for the old one to look at your prior travel history.
Since you do not have any travels on that one and you are not declaring past travels on the Ds160 form, they will not care for it.
