B1, Business Visa Applying with personal business invitation.

Hello All,

currently, I am in Belgium for business purpose, originated from Nepal. So, I am applying US Business Visa (B-1) from Belgium. My sister in law inviting me in business invitation without company/organization official paper to expand/market my business in USA. Is that OK to apply without official company invitation for BUSINESS VISA?

first of all you should not apply in belgium.

They will deny you telling you to apply in nepal.

And applying in nepal ( india) you should have a proper business plan and business invitation. they will grill you about your business.
so do not take it casually, it is not as easy as you think.

I am frequently travelling to Belgium and other schengen states. I am shareholder in Belgium business too. And this business visit is for market research and invest and open new company.

that is ok. but US embassy requires that you should apply in the country of your permanent residence. Where the officers are familiar about local issues and
can better assess your ties.
