Spouse possessing H4 in India, company applied for B1
Hi All, need some urgent information on my spouse's case. I am on H1B in US since April this year and my wife is in India, and she possesses an H4 visa. Her Indian company wants to send her to US for 4 weeks for a training/attend product demo. She has applied for B1 visa and her interview is scheduled within next few days.
I would like to know if there is a possibility of her B1 visa rejection due to my being in US? Also, will she retain her H4 after getting B1 or will it be cancelled?
She is planning to visit US for a vacation later this year for around 2 months and will need H4 during that period.
Request to please clarify these queries and tips on how to handle questions asked on spouse being in US and existing H4 retention? She has truthfully provided all the details related to me in her DS-160 form.
