  • B1 Or B2 visa application for a housemaide?

I tried calling the embassy I need same information but all I got is the automated phone service.

I have a usa visa and I travel every year to Boston for treatment for me and my mother, this year I want to take my maide with me because I have 2 year old baby and im sick with MS I need help in the airports and in boston she worked with us for the last 2 years, and she goes with us even in our vacations. my mother is her employer in the contract but I live with my mother in the same house, I need to go to Boston before my mother does to book the doctor appointments and rent an apartment would it be ok for her to travel with me. also what do I need to apply for a usa visa for the maide ? we have contract with the maide issued by uae government what ells should I bring. and at the day of the interview does my mother have to bring the maide or I can bring her for the interview?

A visitor visa can be issued as a special-purpose visa for a caretaker, if you go to the issuing Embassy or Consulate, as the employer, with your employee, and have ample proof of your employment relationship (contract or other documents) and proof of wages paid.

From one Embassy website which describes various nonimmirant visas:

          "...
B-1/B-2: The visitor visa, which is issued to aliens for several purposes:
          B-1: For personal/domestic employees of B, E, F, H, I, J, L, O, P, and Q visa holders and U.S. citizens temporarily assigned to the United States
          ..."
