Hi,
I am a PhD student at a university in India and I have been selected to attend a conference in US in September. I have applied to some grant giving agencies but since their results will only come near the conference dates, I don't want to depend on them. I plan to give the visa interview beforehand. Either I do or don't get the grants, I will be dependent on my parents for sponsoring the trip (as the grants cover only part of the expenses. Also not many grants are given.). What kind of questions will I face at the interview. Also, when they ask about source of funding, what is the best answer to give?
Thanks.
