    B1 in lieu of H1B

    Hi,

    I am on a B1 visa in lieu of an H1B and am here for at least a year. What are my options around healthcare? can i request conversion of my visa to H1B sooner rather than later so i can get a SSN? Any option of a SSN on B1?
