Hi,
I recently appeared for B1 visa interview in London and VO approved it. VO did not ask or see any other document except DS-160 confirmation page and invite letter. So, VO kept DS-160 confirmation page and passport and did not give my any document/paper in return and I exited from consulate building afterwards.
After 48 hrs when I check the status of visa, it says "Administrative Processing". When I read about this status, I understand it is not a nice status to have.
Can someone please confirm:
1. After successful visa interview, was I supposed to get any paper/document in return from the VO?
2. What is the status flow of B1 visa application?
3. Is "Administrative Processing" usually initial status for approved visa application?
Thanks!
